How reliable are my survey results?

The survey results are calculated using a frequency distribution Gap Analysis. These results have proven to be extremely reliable based on feedback from Raters.   [back to top]

What should be the ideal respondent size?

Most individuals being rated will have 10-15 raters. The NBOGroup 360º can accommodate virtually an unlimited number of raters. Having too few raters (less than 5) is discouraged because of anonimity and the reduced value of too small a sample size .   [back to top]

How do I create a survey? Can I modify my survey after I have created it?

There are a variety of options to create your survey

How do I ask my raters to complete my survey?

An email will be sent to your raters from our system administrator. The email includes a link to the online survey and a unique login username and password.    [back to top]

Can my survey be offered in multiple languages?

The NBOGroup 360º surveys are currently available online in English, Chinese Simplfied, Chinese Traditional and Japanese as well as other Asian languages. We can provide our 360º surveys in virtually any language, so please contact us if you have different requirements.   [back to top]

When can I view the results of my survey?

As soon as the survey project is complete, results are printed or electronically sent via PDF files. Depending upon the size of the project, reports can be delivered electronically within 1 to 5 working days.   [back to top]

Can I look at the results of specific rater or groups of raters?

Anonymity is normally an important part of 360º feedback. Results from groups of raters are identified but individual responses from specific raters are not identified unless agreed upon before the survey is conducted.   [back to top]

How does a rater complete a survey?

The rater will receive an email inviting them to participate in an online survey. The email will include the link to the survey and the username and password to login. After login, the rater will select the ratee name on screen which will load the survey questions. The rater will select their relationship via a drop-down list, there is also the opportunity for raters to type in personal comments, and then answer the questions selecting the appropriate responses shown on the screen. When the rater has completed the survey, he/she selects "Submit" and receives an acknowledgement of completion. The rater is then returned to the introduction screen to carry out further surveys, or to log out of the system.    [back to top]

Can a rater go back and review/change their responses?

Yes, as long as the survey has not been submitted.    [back to top]

If a respondent is disconnected while taking a survey, will the survey data be saved?

Yes, the NBOGroup 360º feedback system has an autosave feature which allows users to partially complete the survey and logout without submitting. This gives the rater adequate time to complete the survey and to save all responses if the rater is interrupted or disconnected. For security purposes there is also an automatic time-out feature if the survey has been idle for a long period of time.  [back to top]

What computer, modem speed or web browser do I need for this survey?

The NBOGroup 360º feedback system only requires an internet connection and a browser. We are able to provide support for both Microsoft and Apple platforms.    [back to top]

What if I forgot my username and password?
